Junior Software Developer - AI/Machine Learning

We are seeking a highly motivated junior software developer with an interest in AI and machine learning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of algorithms, models, and software systems for segmentation, measurements of anatomical structures, and other measures using CT scans. The role requires a foundational understanding of AI and machine learning techniques, as well as an aptitude for software development. Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI/machine learning algorithms, models, and software systems for automatic bone density report generation.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop software that meets business needs.
  • Optimize algorithms and models for accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Help ensure that the software system is robust, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Assist in continuously improving the software system through testing, debugging, and feedback from users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/machine learning technologies and apply them to improve our system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Some experience in software development and an interest in AI/machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Exposure to machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Basic knowledge of deep learning architectures, such as CNNs, RNNs, and GANs.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant coursework or projects in AI/machine learning or related fields.
  • Exposure to medical imaging technologies and related data analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data preprocessing techniques and data visualization tools.
